Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.
What if Alan Turing solved one more problem and completed one last
theorem? And suddenly higher mathematics was awash in spells,
summonings, and alternate dimensions where forces lived that would like
nothing better than to munch on your brain. Thanks to the
Turing-Lovecraft theorem magic happens, almost inevitably for the
worst.
The British Secret Service (MI-6, the anti-spell branch) has a
unique way of dealing with theoreticians who trip over the right
formulae - they hire them into The Laundry and retire them to
meaningless desk jobs. Bob Howard, however, is a little to itchy for
the passive life. After a lot of trying he manages to get into field
work. Now, as a relief from an irritating boss who counts paperclips
and takes regular attendance, Bob gets to deal with dark forces and
demonic possession.
The Nemesis ORE statistics for the five PCs playtesting CASE MORNING
BRIGHTSIDE are described in this article. Their stats and
backgrounds were created by David Lai and Matthew Pook.
Finding what remains.
Capt.
Smythe will offer his condolences to the PCs for the loss of their
colleagues and explains that his soldiers are bringing back the remains
of Prof. Lawrence’s Land Rover and his team. He invites them to stay at
the outpost, until new orders are posted from Basra (or London). Before
inviting them into his office, Capt. Smythe was able to briefly contact
and apprise Col. Masters of the situation in Basra.

“It
is often said that mathematics is the language scientists use to
describe the Universe. How is it that mathematics can change the
Universe? Can words that describe an object, make that very same object
change or move? No matter how much one can describe a car with words,
those words won’t make that car move faster, or change into a rock.
With the posting of Part 3 of Case Morning Brightside, I've
introduced my first fully stated 65d NPC from my "Atrocity
Archive" game. She is found marooned in the wilderness in Iraq
and is rescued by the PCs. Is she a lost inncoent or something
more sinister? You'll just have read the article to find out...
I'm sure she could easily be adapted for use in a Delta Green game as an NPC too.

WARNING: If you are intending to play Part 4, I don't recommend
reading this article as it strongly hints at events to come in Part
4. Don't say I didn't warn you.
