Anyhoo, Brett here is a snotty teenage intellectual and follower of Ayn
Rand, he calls himself "The Objectivist" because, y'know, he considers
himself one and plus he duplicates objects. What might be fun as he
evolves would be to (1) take the restriction off his powers and (2)
have him able to permanently improve himself as he transforms back into
human -- the rationale being that the more he achieves, the more his
self-image improves and the more capable he unconsciously makes himself
when he changes back.
Archetype: Mutant (+5) Permission: 'Transforming Self to Reproduce the Thingness of Things' Power Theme Body 2 (+10) Coordination 2 (+10) Sense 2 (+10) Brains 2 (+10) Command 2 (+10) Cool 2 (+10) Body Skills Run 2 (+4) Swim 2 (+4) Coordination Skills Dodge 2 (+4) Firearms: Pistol 3 (+6) Firearms: Rifle 2 (+4) Sense Skills Hearing 3 (+6) Cool Skills Meditation 1 (+2) Stability 2 (+4) Brains Skills Education 3 (+6) Computer Hardware 1 (+2) Computer Software 1 (+2) Electronics 1 (+2) Miracles Metamorph Robust, Usable Outside Combat, 3/6/12 Because it neither attacks nor defends, Brett can only turn himself into inanimate objects. He's got 8d in it (+24) which means he can change into something as large as 3.2 tons or as small as 12 oz. But he has to pay a point of Willpower for every die he rolls. Damn, that's pricey. Flaw: Tranquil State of Mind -2/4/8 Advantage: Morph-Memory +2/4/8. With this, once he changes into something he can remember its pattern for 1 Willpower. This is permanent. Thereafter, he can change into it with a +1d bonus and 1 less point of Willpower. I think these memories can only be improved with XP, but eventually he could be turning into a few things very reliably. Heavy Armor D,R, U would usually be 8 per level, flawed down to 6/level When he's an inanimate object, he's harder to damage. He's got 5 levels, (+30) Flaw: Attached to Metamorph -2 Regeneration D,R, U, usually 8/level, flawed down to 6 When he turns himself back into a human, he trends towards health. He takes a single level of this (since it costs 1 Willpower per use) and ratchets up the healing rate. (+6) Flaw: Attached to Metamorph -2 Advantage: +8S healed each time (+16) Advantage: +2K healed each time (+8) Perceive Sound R,U 3/6/12, flawed down to 2/4/8 When he's inanimate, he'd be deaf without this, which replaces his normal Hearing score. Ironically, he hears better when he's a chair or a cushion or a chainsaw -- probably because he's got the whole surface of his body as a sounding board. Yeah, that must be it. 2HD (+8) and it replaces his sense of hearing, which is gone anyhow. Flaw: Attached to Metamorph -1/2/4 Perceive 3D Objects R,U, 3/6/12 I thought about attaching this to Metamorph too, but it might actually be nice for Brett to have a power he can use while walking and talking. This works like radar, penetrating but not not showing color or surface. He says, "It's a sense of... of the thingness of things, their position in space. It's hard to explain." Mindy replies, "You think that's hard, try listening to the explanation." This replaces sight when he uses it. 2HD (+12) Finally, since Metamorph is such a gas-guzzler, he gets +10 Base Will (+40). Like Mindy, he's a 250 pointer. -G.
