Resembling giant tentacle faced worms, the chthonians are subterrainian creatures who communicate via telepathy. Little is known of their culture, and even their name, if indeed they give themselves one, is unknown. They lay their eggs near the surface, and most of their interaction with humanity occurs when mining or curiousity endangers their eggs or their nesting sites.

Detection Skill: Chthonians lack any recognisable sensory organs, but it is believed they rely on some form of magnetic sense. In any case they use the Detection skill in place of any sense skill except Smell or Taste.

Vulnerabilities: Chthonians are particulaly vunerable to water. When hit with water make a roll based on the ammount of water(ranging from 2d for a bucket, to 10d for full imersion) the chthonian suffers damage each round equal to the width of the roll.

Spell Affects: a mile in diameter.
Activation Time: 5 - Width Minutes
Dice Pool: 4d+1td

Description: This spell creates a massive earthquake, usually causing buildings to shake, objects to fall. While this spell doesn't cause damage by itself, it does cause impact damage to those in it's area of effect, as people are hit by objects, fall over etc. (equivalent to 1d)
