What do you get when you have a long lost, unpublished Mythos document, a chain of seemingly unrelated events and a cell of "Backwoods Bigfoot hunters" all in the same adventure? I call it Dark Revelations.

Though it is still in the planning stages,I have an idea for a new scenario series. Although it is still in outline form,I would welcome any possible suggestions/allow anyone who asks the freedom to do what they will with the ideas I am submitting. The whole thing centers around an unpublished Journal of a now deceased Theological Anthropologist named Carlton Waite .The beginning notes I have start a little something like this:

Part I) Dark Revelations:

It was the 23rd day of June 1969. The fix was in, and unfortunately, so was the diagnosis: Terminal Cancer. For Carlton Waite, it signaled the "Last Minute".40 years of Theological Anthropology had taken their toll. The doctors claimed he didn't have many days left and if he wanted to complete his life's work,he couldn't afford to waste a single breath.Hurried like a man possessed, he checked every comma, every space, every period of over 30 years of accumulated data. There could be no room for errors, mistakes or misunderstandings...The fate of the world lay in his trembling hands.

The basic synopsis of this concept is that Carlton Waite had caught a horrible glimpse of a truth more terrible than anyone dared guess: That the Apocalyptic myths and tales were all inter-related and the differences thereof were mostly due to to culturaldifferences. The research of these common threads led to his unpublished work: "Dark Revelations". The scheme I had for the whole thing would be that the adventures cotained within would sort of co-inside with the reading of the lost journal by a rather unimportant N.P.C named Ed Cullpepper.

The chapters of the book are inter-connected by the slow corruption of society and the strengthening grasp of the Great Old Ones, though all will seem unrelated at first.

These ideas are just rough sketches for now, but any input would be appreciated.

Chapter I.) Dark Revelations
This scenario deals with the resurfacing of the unpublished journal: "Dark Revelations" and gives a brief, fleeting glimpse at the "Narrator" of this tale:Ed Cullpepper, mild mannered Janitor at Western Oregon University.

Chapter II.) The Golem and the Broken Cross:
Meanwhile, in the "Big Apple", a rather strange battle is going on as a group of neo-nazi sorcerers face off against a group of Jewish kabalists in a "No holds barred occult grudge match".

Chapter III.) "Gimme some of that "Old Ones" Rock and Roll:
It's old hat that some rock stars follow the great old ones, what gets disturbing is when such a group finds a copy of Massa Di Requiem Per Shuggay and decides to release it in a double live album!

Chapter IV.) That "Old Ones" Religion:
Over the past few decades,it seems that not even the Church is immune to decadence and evil. Meet a televangelist
who wants the world to have a close, personal relationship with Hastur!

Chapter V.) Into the Heart of Twilight
Gangs, drugs and the Mythos. What's the connection? Stay tuned for further details.

Chapter VI.) "Honest Officer, The Devil Really did make me do it!"
Violence in schools and from our young people. A sign of the times or the beginning of a deeper threat?

Chapter VII.) The Decadent and the Dead."
Ever wonder how the ultra-rich got that way? Meet a C.E.O who has spent his (UN) life in persuit of luxury, decadence and fresh flesh.

Chapter VIII.)"Now how much would you pay?"
There is a new miracle worker in town who can get you what you want...for a price.

Chapter IX.) "Hail to the Chief"
Meet the newest presidential candidate. He's witty,he's charismatic and if elected...there will be hell to pay.

Chapter X.) Picking up the pieces.
After saving the world, the agents have some time to ponder what is really going on...And trust me, they'll need it

Chapter XI.) Epilogue (The Ties that Bind):
Assuming the agents were sucessful, the time for the final showdown draws near. But beware, the price to be paid may be higher than they think.

Well, I know it's still pretty rough but it sounded like a good start to me.
