Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.
So, you have the new Delta Green book, DG: Countdown, and DG: Eyes Only.
You've now got what could be considered the three main books, so you're
pretty set to go. After that you get into obsessive completist
territory ; welcome to my world.
Any good DG scenario starts off with some small amount of initial
information. It is up to the group to take this and expand to the point
where they have a good understanding of their opponents. There exist
three main ways to better inform yourself before taking on the enemy in
his lair. Research, Stakeouts and Confrontation.
DG's ROE would change slightly for each
mission based upon its particulars but these are the general guidelines
I use for mission briefings and ROEs in my campaign.
First, the Agents receive their "Night at the Opera" e-mails or phone
calls. All this sets up is a place for them to meet with ALPHONSE or
another DG representative, serving essentially as a Warning Order for
the cell. At
the meet, they receive their true operational orders.
The usefulness of a safe house / green box is dependent on its location. A unoccupied safe house in a bad part of town would definately get broken into and occupied by local crack heads. The same thing could happen in the burbs, of course, although I think partying teenagers would be more likely. How partying teenagers differ from crackheads is left as an exercise for the reader.
Can Feds tamper with evidence in State police lockups? How much information are they cleared for with regard to satelite information? How about foreign travel to destroy a world-wide cult?
It is assumed that that the current batch of Delta Green cleared agents understand that the supernatural is real and that some hypergeometrical formulas can be of use to agents in the field. So, why doesn’t A Cell send out detailed instructions for some of the more innocuous formulas? Here is DG official policy on this matter.
