When I started fiddling around with a cyberpunk/Godlike/ORE I immediately decided there should be a way around the obvious 10+ dice limit so I came up with a trick called Dice Wrangling.

Dice Trick: Wrangle Dice
Wrangle Dice allows a player to reroll an amount of dice from a Dice Pool up to or equal to the relevant Wrangle Dice rating. Wrangle Dice gives a chance to refine a landed result into something better without gambling the landed sets. Wrangle Dice are always treated as regular dice so use your WD and HD first.

I wanted war robots and drones to be frightening in combat and technically it should be a problem for a machine to have 11+ dice in one roll.

So how does it work?

Keep track of how many Wrangle Dice you have. If your dicepool exceeds ten dice, you roll ten dice but you can reroll an amount of dice up to but not exceeding your Wrangle Dice total.

The rerolled dice are all thrown like regular dice - no special dice allowed.

Cheers,

Chris.
