Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.

some of the movers and shakers and money makers that you might walk
into around your doss.
1. Carpenter
The three most important things to remember are wood, wood, wood. You build stuff out of lumber. All sorts of things; doors, posts, frames, staves, ship hulls… well there's a lot. Nothing fancy, just the basic necessities. +2 Expert: Carpentry, +3 Possession (tools and lumber)
2. Clerk
You can read and write… reasonably. It is better technology than what most people can do so you have your choice of good jobs scribbling on vellum and adding totals for businesses. You get to pick up a lot of secrets. +1 Literacy, +2 Wealth, +2 Secrets
3. Constable
You're not the Watch, you have additional responsibilities to the community, answering questions, asking questions, investigating crimes, hassling the suspicious, doing the terrible bidding of the nobles. Your work is rewarding when you get to do good with your authority, other times it's an anchor of injustice dragging you down. +1 Status, +2 Scrutinise, +2 Empathy
4. Fisher
All larger towns are built near rivers. Not that people would be stupid to drink that water, mind you – that's why the dig wells – no, it's for fishing, for lovely fresh fish. +2 Expert Sailing, +1 Haggle, +2 Possession (Boat and nets)
5. Grocer
You would go and buy cheap from farmers and sell to peasants. You do all the sweaty work, they get the food with ease, and they still complain. It never ends. SO much for the new economy, you're going to pack it in after the season, for definite. +2 Haggle, +1 Lie, +1 Wealth, +1 Possession (nag and rickety wagon)
6. Lugger
You're big and strong. You always have been and people flag you down from across the road to help them move furniture. Move quick and there could be a penny for you, boy! It's a living. +1 BODY
7. Smith
All day you bake in the heat and choke on the smoke. You come out black and sweaty. Your work is blunt and indelicate and people come to you for those practical requirements; nails, tools, and sometimes a weapon. You get to charge but not too much. +2 Expert: Smithing, +3 Possession (tools and cold-iron ingots)
8. Smuggler
You are renowned for transporting contraband goods. At least your work is renowned; personally, your identity is a cipher. The only reason its contraband is because you haven't paid tax which is extortion for the biggest thieves around – government. +2 Strategy, +1 Fascinate, +2 Empathy
9. Tout
You probably had a miserable life running from drunks and molesters but you learned a special freedom. As such your experienced information and understanding of the city has given you contacts with special people to deliver messages quickly. You have to be careful – there are those who would kill you for your knowledge. +2 Patron, +2 Run, +1 Secret
10. Whippersnapper
As a child, people called you precocious or cheeky, as an adult, people are at a loss. You are too difficult to accept and too alarming to ignore. You enjoy living among the poor and others beneath your station. You're… political! +1 Lore, +1 Perform: Rhetoric, +1 Patron, +1 Secret, +1 Followers
