A celestial interpretation of the history of the corporal realm. This is a rough outline of what is given in far more detail in the In Nomine: Game Masters Guide.  

• Creation In the beginning, there was light.


• ??? Yves created, he then names God. Michael, then Lucifer, Baal, David, Eli, Uriel, and Gabriel are created.


• ??? Metratron appears, serving as the voice of God. Shortly afterwards the above mentioned angels begin creating the universe upon instruction by God. Yves begins naming everything. At about this time, other angels begin to be created.
  
  
• 4.6 Billion B.C. The Earth is created.
  
  
• 100 Million B.C. The angels continue to work on Earth, forming the continents. Beleth and Blandine begin exploring the Marches. Yves, Jean, and Raphael begin working on transcribing all knowledge for Yves's Library. Kobal receives his 'special assignment' from God.
  
  
• 500,000 B.C. Lucifer teaches early humans how to use fire.
  
  
• 25,000 B.C. Jordi watches as humans begin to become the most selfish of creatures and wants to wipe them out. He's talked out of it by Michael, and regrets it still to this day. At this time, humans begin to develop religion, causing the Marches to become populated by ethereal beings from human imagination.


• 23,000 B.C. The Eden Experiment happens. Lilith walks out on Eden. Ophis then tempts Eve, causing the experiment to be called 'inconclusive'.
  
  
• 22,625 B.C. The Fall. Lucifer recruits a 1/3rd of the Host and leads his Rebellion. In his last private talk with God, he destroys Metatron (thus forming the basis for Hell's foundations -- built from Metatron's remains). Malakim form from other angelic choirs, the most pure becoming the first members of the choir. Uriel is one of their first, followed by David. Michael kicks Lucifer out of Heaven. God also removes the ban on celestial intervention on Earth that he put in place during the Eden Experiment.
  
  
• 22,000 B.C. The Seraphim Council is created.
  
  
• 16,000 B.C. Lilith helps the Diabolicals escape Hell, going from there to the Marches to Earth. The Grigori Choir is created to help guard humanity.
  
  
• 11,600 B.C. The Second 'Fall'. Grigori begin having children with humans and neglect their jobs. Dominic tries them and finds them guilty, and with the Seraphim Council, cast them out.
  
  
• 2000 B.C. Yves with the Seraphim Council promote Monotheism to head off the growing power of pagan Ethereal spirits.
  
  
• 1580 B.C. The Trial of Michael. Dominic tries Michael on charges of 'Pride'. Found guilty, God steps in and acquits him, but Michael resigns as Commander of the Host. Uriel takes the position.
  
  
• 859 B.C. Magog falls after promoting war between several human groups. Lucifer crowns him Prince of Cruelty, but he's summarily imprisoned by David and Khalid, underneath the Egyptian Desert.
  
  
• 60 A.D. Yves, Gabriel, and Raphael help spread Christianity rapidly, cutting off many pagan gods from their worshippers. Michael begins supporting Christianity but becomes hostile toward Yves.
  
  
• 632 A.D. Dominic tries to try Gabriel for heresy, but Gabriel storms out of Heaven and begins her self-imposed exile.
  
  
• 715 A.D. Purification Crusade begins under the command of Uriel.
  
  
• 745 A.D. Uriel is called before the Seraphim Council for his continuing razing of the Marches in the Purification Crusade. Uriel is abruptly ordered to the Higher Heavens by God. Laurence is made Archangel and Commander of the Host.
  
  
• 900 A.D. Kronos first appears, as the Prince of Fate.
  
  
• 1008 A.D. Legion learns how to possess multiple hosts and is named Prince of Corruption by Lucifer; but quickly goes mad. Heaven and Hell have no other choice but to team up to destroy him, but in the ensuing battle Raphael is destroyed.
  
  
• 1348 A.D. The Renegade Demon Prince of Disease accelerates the Black Death. Servitors of Asmodeus and Dominic collaborate openly to destroy Makatiel to stop the plague.
  
  
• 1517 A.D. Laurence's Last Lesson. Laurence tries to cause change through Martin Luther, but ends up splitting the Church in the Protestant Reformation.
  
  
• 1771 A.D. Vapula becomes Demon Prince of Technology as factories begin spreading across England.
  
  
• 1884 A.D. Nybbas becomes Demon Prince of the Media after helping to invent Television.
  
  
• 1957 A.D. Eli goes AWOL.
