Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.
This is a set of pseudo-mystical dietary techniques developed by Truil
hunters far from their tribes. It is a practical use of their
ritualistic and infamous cannibalism. The human meat you eat must be
fresh - less than a day old. Cooking does count against this time limit
though.
I have always felt the the “spying” stealth discipline Opetkan Vanishing was a little off because out-of-place second rank Undifferentiated Occult Knacks. This obviously felt like a Counterspell ability.
While
looking for a replacement second path, I ended up fiddling with the
whole thing. Then I also wanted to see what I can do for the Thief
God's esoteric path.
See First Year of Our REIGN, page 80, for original version of Opetkan Vanishing for comparison.
The
Sunwise Healers, also called sungazers by the dull, ignorant and
misunderstanding foreign masses, have unique magical skills often take
them far away to foreign lands - especially those who value
independence and enterprise over the squabbling between the begging
hordes, the Concordance's Church of the Sun Mother Resurgent, the
orthodox Church of Sun Mother, the Supernal Fellowship and the Wronged.
As such, they are forced to rely more and more upon the spirit that
dwells within them. Through dedication they can improve this
interaction with the sun spirit inside and improve their station.
This is intentionally a little powerful but it needs to be kickass for people to buy. I remember there was another jumping discipline posted somewhere else but I have no idea how similar mine is to that.
In order to get back into REIGN now that Liam has said he's
started preparing a campaign, I went over some old notes and ideas for
esoteric disciplines and martial paths and decided to fix them up with
my copy of Second Year. Some are hole-fillers while others are unusual
and experimental and hopefully fun.
