Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.
I have run a trial game pitting Space Marines against Orks. For the Orks I used the rules found on this site. I came up with the following stats for Space Marines using the REIGN system.
In the coming decades, technologies like genetic engineering,
artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology will transform humanity. A
strange new world is unfolding – nightmarish to some, utopian to
others. Soon we'll have the power to reshape our children's genes,
build machines that think, and upload our minds into computers.
Why have lists of weapons with each having its separate rules and cost, when you can also have a "weapon menu" and what your order determines the cost? Sounds too good to be true? Well, let's try it out.
At the moment I use REIGN for my Dark Heresy game. As Dark Heresy
dictates my players are Acolytes working for an Inquisitor. But I don't
like this setup for two reasons: 1) We have played Delta Green for a couple of years and we have "seen
it, done it" when it comes to "secret agents fighting hidden horrors"
2) REIGN has the innovative Company rules which I want to use. But
Company rules can't really be used in Dark Heresy as you play followers
and not the "movers and shakers" of the world.
As both systems - Dark Heresy and ORE (one roll engine) - are percentile based the conversion is quite easy. Below or my rules for character generation:
