I've finally finished my ORE Tool Kit. This is a 160+ page PDF which features lots of rules options, advantages and esoteric disciplines for use with modern/sci fi games. I wrote it mostly as a core reference book as I tend to convert alot of game mechanics I don't like to the ORE these days.

It's available as a free PDF to anyone interested at my website: www.oroborus.biz

avatar This looks like it will be quite handy.
I'll try to get back to you with any notes after I've read the whole thing.
Cheers Dorian.

avatar I'm just starting to dig in to the Tool kit and all it all it seems like a nice compilation of ORE rule variations. However I am a bit confused in the reoccurring statements that the width of rolls indicate the quality while the height indicates speed. A quick look at my various other O.R.E. systems state that just the opposite.

According to the ORE Toolbox in a foot race where getting to the finish line first is the only thing that matters a runner with a 2X10 set would beat another runner with a 5X1 set. My understanding of the One Roll Engine is that the 2X10 runner would be the embodiment of grace and prefect technique while the 5X1 runner would look like Rosie O'Donnell getting to the front of the buffet line.
