If you take five or more points of Killing damage from a single attack at height 10, you're dead. If you take this much Killing damage at a height other than 10 you've taken a very serious wound and are incapacitated: an arm has been blasted off, ribs have been shattered, an eye has been shot out, or whatever suits the circumstances and the GM's sensibilities.

If you take five or more points of Shock damage from a single attack (or combined Shock and Killing) at height 10, you're incapacitated and effectively unconscious. If you take this much Shock damage (or combined Shock and Killing) at a height other than 10, a limb is disabled or you're otherwise impaired by the injury (dazed, deafened, half-blinded, etc.) but you can still function. However, the GM might call for a Mental Stability check to avoid panic.

If you take a total of 20 points of Shock damage (or combined Shock and Killing) from any number of wounds, you're incapacitated.

If you take a total of 20 Killing damage you're dead.
