Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.
Roll once on each of the three tables to get your own unique "Liveliest Awfulness".
table one: Physical deformities.
01-05. One eye has some form of deformity (no pupil, odd shape of iris or pupil, all white, etc.)
06-10. Teeth are out of proper alignment or position (molars at the front, newly gap-toothed or overlapping chompers)
11-15. Nose deformity (One nostril overly large or closed, melted appearance)
16-20. Odd facial hair (eyebrows at wrong place, hairline waving around the scalp, beard growth all over the face)
21-25. Weird minor protrusion or shallow cavity somewhere on head.
26-30. Missing or out-of-sequence digits on hand (index and thumb switched)
31-35. 'Leaning' body (everything seems to be slightly angled, one eye higher that the other, same shoulder on that side of the body higher, limping because hip is higher as well, etc.)
61-65. Sealed or missing orifice / sensory organ (eyelids, both nostrils, ears, mouth, etc.)
66-70. Minor duplicate body parts growing out of the wrong place (fingers jutting out from the back of the neck, teeth instead of fingernails)
71-73. Major facial, deformity (eye in middle of forehead, large teeth growing through cheeks, major concavity or ridges on skull)
74-76. Major physical pattern deformity (both knees bend backwards, arms connected too low on torso, both sets of limbs and head facing a different direction than the torso and pelvis).
77-80. Fused limbs (skin on arms binding to the chest, legs connected to the knees)
81-83. Missing limb / wrong limb (right arm ends in a stump below the elbow and the left arm ends with a right hand)
84-86. Strands of flesh covered muscle hang from parts of the body, with practice these â?~tentaclesâ?T can be functional.
87-90. Alien growth on body (animal or insect parts grow or replace other body parts)
91-93. Missing bones in several parts of body (see 84-86)
94-96. Roll twice and combine results.
97-99. Roll three times and combine results.
00. Undead, shape changing shoggoth wannabe - ever see John Carpenter's The Thing . . .
01-33. Unnatural appetite - The resurrected needs nourishment from non-food materials (dirt or soil, heavy metals or toxic chemicals, etc.) or sources that most would consider repulsive: bugs, vermin, rotting plants and/or animals, human brains...
34-66 Reduced or no appetite - The resurrected takes much longer to digest food (and it rots inside them) or they don't process food at all (it simply sits in their stomach; how are they going to get it out); they can't take nourishment from normal feeding methods (experimenting to see what works could be "fun").
67-00 Gruesome thoughts - The immune system doesn't work particularly well & the bacteria in the gut start slowly consuming the resurrected from the inside. Or the resurrected's immune system attacks *everything*.
