Project Nemesis is a fan driven website for games that use the One-Roll Engine (like Nemesis, Wild Talents, Reign and Monsters) or Chaosium's Basic Roleplay System (BRP) (like Call of Cthulhu) and the Delta Green setting.
Here is a new Trait suitable from cinematic and pulp settings. It allows characters to 'feel' the presence of the supernatural.
Supernatural Sensitivity Prerequisite: Supernatural (GM's discretion) and a Sense of at least 3 Description: This Trait is basically a sixth sense to detect the influence of the supernatural. it should be treated as instinctive self-preservation, not a supernateral revelation. The sensitivity most often feels like a creepy feeling or a sudden chill when in the presence of the supernatural. Effect: To 'feel' the presence of the supernatural you roll Sense+Mythos or Sense+Occult (GM's discretion). The Difficulty of the roll is 10 minus the Intensity of the entity, thus the more powerful the entity, the easier it is to 'feel' its presence.
E.g. Harvey Walters enters a basement where a Ghoul is hiding. The feel the horrible presence of the supernatural creature Harvey has to roll his Sense+Mythos against a Difficulty of 5 (10 - Int.5). If a Shoggoth was living in the basement the difficulty of the roll would be 2 (10-Int.8).
