The Agent's cell is activated by whatever means are typically used, with notice that they must assist a Friendly. They are told not to ask questions but to render whatever assistance is needed. The time is 9:30pm

They are called to a busy high-rise condo in a metropolitan location. There is a fairly successful late night supermarket on the ground floor, which has cameras to monitor the grounds. The main entrance to the condominium lobby has a security guard at all times, although the level of competence and attention they pay to anyone is dependent on the hour and how they look. They will need to sign in to gain access to the condo elevators. They are many people, both residents and visitors milling about as the location is somewhat central to the nightlife of the city in question.

The Friendly is on the 36th floor. Once they confirm they are Opera fans (or whatever other password you would find appropriate) the Friend opens the door to reveal he is naked and covered in blood. There is the body of a 30-something white male cooling and draining in the bathtub. Cause of death was multiple stab wounds. The Friendly's clothes and the weapon are also in the tub. Blood spray and footprints are all over the walls and ecru carpet.

Without being pressed, the Friendly will volunteer that "Harry" will be missed by the start of business hours, and that Harry can't "just be dumped, he has to completely vanish". The Friendly will ask to be called Mr. Green, although his real name is already known to the agents. If questioned casually, Mr. Green will refuse to discuss matters, merely saying that "it had to be done" and "your organization owes me. I was told you make people like this disappear. So disappear him already." If more forceful questioning is applied, he will reveal that Harry was killed in self-defense, but elaborate no further. Successful Psychology rolls reveal that Mr. Green is not a practiced murderer, but that he has no regrets over this killing.

With less than twelve hours in the heart of the city, how will the Agents dispose of the evidence? What service does "Mr. Green" provide to Delta Green?

Optional Extra Twist: If your Agents are the sort who would have a conflict over it or if they are just a little too clever, you could have the orders by to execute Mr. Green as a liability and then make BOTH bodies vanish without a trace.

Extra twist #2: The body in the tub is not dead. It should be, but isn't. In fact, despite gaping oozing stab wounds and lack of pulse, Mr. Shouldbedead is actively trying to escape his bonds (he's tied up, taped up and/or cuffed). He might even be tearing his flesh and giving himself new wounds as he struggles to pull his wrists through cuffs/ropes and otherwise escape his bonds.

To keep him somewhat quiet, several large pieces of duct tape have been placed over his mouth (the bottom-most layers are partially chewed through). Or perhaps his throat has been cut and the best he can manage is a wet gurgling whisper. The latter would be creepier, of course, especially if he has interesting things to say - warnings about the Friendly and how he will kill the PCs as soon as the present situation is taken care of, and then their families; that the Friendly is no longer human; that the Friendly cast some sort of spell on him before stabbing him; knowledge of DG that he should not have, possibly including PC secrets; things about previous operas he should not know; info about interesting books or items the Friendly might have stashed in the apartment or elsewhere; babblings in Aklo; hideous threats; insert fun stuff here that'll keep the PCs paranoid and unsure what to believe, etc.

Mr. Shouldbedead will continue to struggle as he is being disposed of (unless the PCs decide not to dispose of him for some reason, of course). The PCs may want to start by cutting tendons in the ankles & wrists, then destroying the eyes and eardrums; this should ensure that Mr. S. isn't going to go far if he somehow gets loose (mental image of him running naked, bleeding and screaming through the late-night supermarket with the PCs in pursuit, and let Phenom-X win the bribing/bidding war for the security camera footage). Then the dismemberment can begin; better keep an eye on all of the parts and make sure nothing crawls away. Bets on whether or not the skull & other bones will be "active" as they are being pulverized?

Suitably disturbing, with many questions to be discovered while still (necessarily) moving forward. Sounds perfect.
