NEMESIS is a dark horror game — designed to emulate the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, Ambrose Bierce, Brian Lumley, William Peter Blatty as well as settings such as Delta Green and the Gilchrist Trust — in a roleplaying game. It is a new, faster, more elegant way of handling both combat (the One Roll Engine) and the sanity-rending effects of horror (the Madness Meter). It picks up where its predecessors left off; creating an incredibly rich, eminently expandable game structure to be built upon. It can handle everything from a gritty Delta Green Operation into deepest Burma or an over-the-top brawl with the Ogdru Jihad in the world of Hellboy. The system is eminently scalable and customizable. Written by Dennis Detwiller and Greg Stolze, NEMESIS combines the talents of two creators who have made a name for themselves in horror (Delta Green, Unknown Armies). The ransom for this project has been filled. Enjoy the work you or your fellow gamers have made free, forever. Useful downloads: |
