The invasion started slowly and without any clues that it was even transpiring. The harbingers hit the psychics first and within weeks every secret known to mankind had been passed along to their leader: The Exo-titan. It quickly infected the mind-readers and then began on the big name groups that held the most powerful talents: The grail-knights, the Juggernauts, and even Hex-Corp were under the sway of the hive mind of the Exo-Titan.

A small group of relatively new talents calling themselves “The hell-makers” unknowingly uncovered one of the psychics and began to spread the word that even Earths most powerful talents might not be what they seem anymore.

A world-wide purge began after it was discovered how to tell them apart from those who still had their freewill. Villains acted on the information to settle old scores with long-time foes and claim that their actions were justified. Heroes crossed the line that previously they would never waver with out of paranoia and opportunity. The earth was a battle ground and the frontline was on every street corner. The fights ranged from the dark alleys of Cairo to the towering skyscrapers of New York and thousands of talents on both sides were killed by friends and old foes alike. Not long after most were rooted out, a divine ritual of untold power parted the space between mars and earth. The Exo-Titan had arrived.

The remaining puppets of the Exo-titan took to space to help their master use his technological mental powers on the unsuspecting populace of earth. Heroes and villains set aside their bubbling feuds and took to the vast expanse of space to combat the monstrosity from another dimension before all of humanity talents and normal alike were willing hosts to its demented over-mind.

The shock waves of battle hit the coast cities in the form of massive waves and radiation rained down from the heavens above as the talents fought for the survival of humanity. The orbital space station ‘America 1’ broadcast amazing footage of the battles and could even pinpoint the deaths of some of earth’s most iconic talent heroes. It broadcast it’s signal to an anxious earth before the Exo-Titan hurtled an armored platform driven by ‘The Rex’ through it. It plummeted into the atmosphere and the burning remains landed on the screaming populace of Detroit. Italy was devastated by a stray blast from an unknown source.

The world trembled while its fate hung in the balance. After a sleepless week of waiting, an explosion filled the sky and it appeared that the threat had passed. The Exo-Titan that could be seen hovering in the sky with the naked eye was gone. Parts of its burnt and crumbling body fell to earth with devastating consequences.

A sigh of relief was had by all of earth, but troubles were just beginning.

A secret pact of villains that had stayed underground during the conflict suddenly emerged from their hiding and picked off the remaining exhausted talents as they returned triumphantly to earth. Quickly, they eliminated any remained threats and took positions of power. It wasn’t long until borders meant nothing anymore and governments as stable governing powers as we knew it had been obliterated.

Lines have been drawn in the sand by the villains turned dictators. To cross them is all out war. The people of earth live in enslavement at best while the new kings of earth rules with fist of iron.

But not all hope is lost. A group of talents comprised of former villains, new heroes, and anyone else looking to sign up have formed together to rise up in secret against these tyrants and return their world into the hands of those who deserve it.

How they do it is up to them.

I plan to have all sorts of moral choices in there as well. Such as the small country that has yet to be taken over by villanry because it shares a border with two huge empires that both require people. Both of them want the country, but to set foot into it means war with the other. War means an attack of oppurtionity from someone else, so currently it's the last free nation.

However, attacking one of the tyrants on either side will trigger the other to march in and claim every last soul in the country in a matter of hours. One villain converts people into undead slaves while the other drains their essence to power his giant robots. Which is better?
